Ann's Angels AWF
Is a 501c3 Public Nonprofit all volunteer team that provide waterskiing and wake boarding events to promote a healthy active life style for those who are challenged with physical and mental disabilities. Everyone you see in our pictures and videos is a volunteer. We pride our selves on the fact that we are a diverse group of volunteers from many water ski and non water ski backgrounds and from all over the country.
When interviewed Ann would refer to her volunteers as the reason her program was so successful. They were the backbone of why she was able to help so many lean to ski and continue waterskiing throughout life. She called them her "Angels" so we carry in her Name as "Ann's Angels".

John started volunteering with Disabled skiing in the late nineties with UCanSki2 on a limited basis as a driver but was hooked and by the early 2000's he was attending several events with Ann and working on ways to promote the sport. Oddly, that is were the art of Photography started and his break from main stream business started. He also uses his knowledge of photography and video to promote other nonprofits in Orlando and Winter Haven. John started promoting through social media and found that the pictures that he took made a huge impact on how the rest of the world reacted to seeing what UCanSki2 was doing in Florida. Networking and videos came next and UCanSki2 would never be the same. Fully funded and in the black for the first time as an incorporated 501c3 was developed in 2010. the team did great things for the next 5 years. John may not be able to Water ski anymore but he has stayed involved is Towed water sports and made a huge impact on the disabled water ski community as well as the Wakeboard world and looks to do the same with Ann's Angels AWF. |
